The Tufty Club

Description: We see Tufty Squirrel and Bobby Brown Rabbit playing in the garden near the house, then Willy Weasel and Harry Hare running on the road swinging on the pole. We then cut back to Tufty and Bobby leapfrogging, then they hear the crash and notice Willy getting hit by a car. We cut to Willy, hit by the car and lying down. Mr. Policeman Badger walks to Willy and helps him up, who then walks to the sidewalk and sits down. He reprimands the boys for playing on the road, before telling him that Willy won't be able to play with Harry for a long time. He then tells them not to play near the road.

Music/Sounds: At the start of the PIF, we hear the transcript.

Narrator: One fine day, Tufty is playing on the grass with Bobby Brown Rabbit. but Harry Hare and Willy Weasel are playing out by the road, near the cars and buses.

(crash)

Narrator: Poor Willy! The car has knocked him down! Very luckily Mr. Policeman Badger comes along to help.

Mr. Policeman Badger: Oh my word.

Narrator: Said Policeman Badger.

Mr. Policeman Badger: You are both silly boys to play on the road. Now Willy's been hurt. He won't be able to play with you for a long time. Never play near the road.

Availability: Used to be seen in cinemas, now seen in some YouTube videos.

Scare Factor: None at first, but it increases to Medium when the car hits Willy due to his foolishness of playing on the road with Harry Hare. However, it's bloodless, Willy lives, and overall, it's rather charming with its stop-motion animation.
